Oceanic Iron Ore appoints Hon. Lawrence Cannon P.C. as Director

Oceanic Iron Ore is pleased to announce the appointment of the Hon. Lawrshape of gold oreence Cannon P.C. as a Director of the Company.

Mr. Cannon was born in Quebec and has a long history of public service at the municipal and provincial levels in Quebec as well as at the federal level. He was first elected to the House of Commons in 2006 and re-elected in 2008. In February of 2006, he was sworn in as Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, a portfolio which included responsibility for Transport Canada, Infrastructure Canada, the Canadian Transportation Agency, the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada, and 16 Crown corporations.
