Ventnor soars on drilling results

Shares in Ventnor Resources soared after the expkorean construction machinery exhibition seminarlorer reported encouraging drilling results from its Thaduna/Green Dragon copper project at Doolgunna.

The company reported 142 metres of copper mineralisation from preliminary testing with laboratory assays results pending early next year. Ventnor said drilling would continue. The company's Thaduna/Green Dragon copper project is 40km east of Sandfire Resources' high grade DeGrussa copper-gold project. Ventnor shares closed up 28 cents, or 68.29 per cent, to 59 cents.
