Spitfire boosts near surface manganese mineralisation in East Pilbara
Spitfire Resources has boosted near surface manganese mineralisation after intersecting large intervals procesing plant manganese miningof logged manganese at the company’s Contact discovery within the South Woodie Woodie Project in Western Australia. The company has completed 31 of 33 reverse circulation drill holes in a current drill program of up to 10,000 metres to test potential for immediate extensions to the east and north of the manganese mineralisation.
Spitfire said a second thicker zone discovered with down-hole intersections of up to 75 metres in total of visually logged manganese mineralisation. Initial drilling focused immediately east of the previously reported intercepts at Contact of; 17 metres at 16.81% manganese. Spitfire plans to conduct infill drilling on 50 metre by 50 metre spacings within the mineralisation area with a view to generating sufficient data to give foundation to an initial JORC Resource estimate...
