Australia may offer mine-exploration tax incentive

Australian government incentives to encourage mining exploration will remain on the eagle austin western jaw crusherstable during discussions about the implementation of the Minerals Resource Rent Tax, the country's resources minister told local media Friday.

In an interview with the website Business Spectator, Resources Minister Martin Ferguson said an implementation panel he will be co-chairing will consider "whether or not we should have an exploration incentive in Australia". A 40% rebate of exploration-related losses was a central component of the previously proposed Resource Super Profits Tax, which was replaced by the MRRT last week after an internal coup in Australia's governing Labor party replaced former prime minister Kevin Rudd with Julia Gillard.
