Gold Anomaly’s Sao Chico project in Brazil shows early potential to host gold

cedar rapids crushersGold Anomaly’s Sao Chico gold project in north central Brazil is showing early signs of potential for an extensive gold system as project management advisory service provider Kenai Resources continues drilling on the project.

Drilling of the first five holes of a planned 25-hole, 3000 metre drilling program has identified wide altered granite zones with major quartz structures with abundant sulphides. These zones are regarded as deeper extensions of a near surface zone that hosted gold mineralisation in a 20 metre deep drive, which sampled at an average of more than 17.7 grams per tonne of gold over an east to west length of 58 metres. To date, mineralisation has been identified from drilling over a strike length of 80 metres and a vertical depth of 154 metres. Multiple zones are being identified below the surface expression of the system which has been mined by garimpeiros since 1985 in the local surrounding area.
