Trap rail systems

One of Becker’s top products is the floor-mounted, rope-driven trap rail system. This system is ideal whenever men and material have to be conveyed rapidly and safely on inclined roads. Thanks to its proven design, it does not go off the rails even when faced with gradients of 45°, single loads of 35t and travelling speeds up to 4m/s.

The rail system itself provides positive guidance of the vehicles and thus prevents a derailment of the cars. Outstanding three-dimensional curve behaviour, smooth running and perfect rope guidance are further engineering features of the Becker trap rail haulage system. pendulum feeder

Available in a rail gauge of 900mm, it is an ideal solution for all transport requirements.

Rack-and-pinion trap rail systems

For even more flexibility with rail switches of branched rail systems or easy extension or shor¬tening of the rail track (for example for face equipment relocations or in road¬header operations), the floor-mounted rack-and-pinion trap rail system shows its advantages.

Different versions are available, depending on the specific requirements: diesel-hydraulic drive and direct electric or electro-hydraulic drive (both with electric power cable). rod mill

Mine monorail systems

Available either with friction drive or rack-and-pinion drive, our mine monorail systems are powered either electro-hydraulically or diesel-hydraulically. Traction forces up to 120kN and travelling speeds up to 2m/s allow a flexible and efficient haulage of standard material and personnel in branched rail systems and roadways with up to 30° inclination.

In the case of electro-hydraulic main drive systems a power supply rail integrated into the track system of a monorail ensures an effici¬ent energy supply.

Raise-climber system

The Becker rack-and-pinion raise climber is the mobile fulcrum of underground transport logistics. The transport of material from the loading station to the final destination must be smooth and efficient in order to be profitable.

As a unique haulage method for steep inclines up to 45°, raises, and roadheader operations, the pneumatic rack-and-pinion raise-climber with a pulling force up to 33kN has proven its outstanding performance.

For applications mainly in non-gassy mines, such as gold and ore mi¬nes, or in tunnelling sites, for example as a handling system in a tunnel¬ling machine, the electro-hydraulic rack-and-pinion raise climber shows its outstanding performance.

Pulling forces of up to 35kN allow the system to be operated efficiently and comfor¬table in inclinations up to 45°. Fail safe emergency braking with minimum wear guarantees proven safety and reliability even in extreme, complicated transport or handling operations.

Mine chairlift systems

Becker chairlift systems are ideal whenever man have to be hauled efficiently, rapidly and safely on inclined roadways. In ad¬dition to normal man-riding the chairlift system can also be used for an emergency transport of an injured person with a required special device. Two standards are available depending on the specific requirements: friction rope grips suitable for gradients less than 13° and fixed rope grips suitable for gradients more than 13°.
